Each commission begins with an assessment of the exposure — the chemicals present, the traffic and load type, the wash-down regime, and the corrosion environment — and a matched system is built from it: chemical- and abrasion-resistant epoxy and specialty floor systems for production areas, and anti-corrosion protective systems for steel and plant, specified against the corrosivity framework of ISO 12944. Substrate preparation is graded to ISO 8501, because a high-performance industrial coating is only as good as the surface beneath it, and dry-film thickness is verified to ISO 2808, because the rated chemical, abrasion, and corrosion resistance exists only at the specified build.
Because Tema’s industrial facilities run on tight production schedules, work is sequenced into the operator’s shutdown or low-activity windows so the system cures and returns to service on time. Every commission is delivered with a documented record — exposure assessment, system specification, preparation grade, thickness verification, and stage QC — that the operator can maintain, extend, and reorder, rather than re-engineer each time a surface wears.
