Painting to specification since 1972

Coralex Painters has been painting Ghana’s demanding interiors and exteriors since 1972 — more than four decades of coatings work built on specifications, not shortcuts. The heart of our portfolio is hospitality and residential work at the exacting end of the market: international hotels where a repaint happens around a live booking calendar, and high-end residences where the finish itself is the brief. Around that core sit corporate and institutional commissions across Accra, Tema and Kumasi, each delivered to the same written standard.

Specification grade is the standard

At Coralex Painters a job belongs to one person in the Project Office for its whole life, opening survey to warranty. We verify the surface, match materials to the standard that applies, gate quality at intervals rather than once, and record acceptance in writing — the line between specification-grade coating and a commercial brush-out.

Who commissions us

Hotel engineering teams who need a ballroom back in service by Friday. Homeowners in East Legon and Cantonments who want a decorative finish executed exactly as sampled. Facilities managers responsible for corporate and institutional buildings where the paint system is specified in writing before a brush is opened. What they share is a procurement culture that asks for evidence — and gets it, at every stage.

Four decades, one signature

Paint chemistry has changed since 1972. Compliance regimes — fire-rated, low-VOC, anti-microbial, marine-exposure — have tightened with every revision cycle. What has not changed is what we put our name to: a coating system specified for its environment, applied over a verified substrate, documented through handover, and still performing years into its service life. That is the work Coralex Painters signs for. Client references available on request.
